As we look ahead to 2026, I am proud of the extraordinary progress Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula has made—and confident in the path before us. Together, we have now produced 8.4 million meals, completed 2.9 million deliveries, driven 4.9 million miles, and benefited from over 1 million volunteer hours. These milestones reflect a community deeply committed to ensuring no neighbor is left hungry or isolated. This year also marks a pivotal moment in our growth. With the purchase of a building in Seaside, we are moving forward with our capital campaign, Welcome to the Table. Our second community kitchen will expand production, strengthen resilience, and position us to meet rising demand with care and consistency—while our current services continue uninterrupted. We are expanding for the future, grounded in the trust you place in us today. Thank you for believing in this mission and helping us build a stronger, more responsive Meals on Wheels for generations to come.
