The ICDC chorus and orchestra will launch this initiative by giving free concerts in King City in winter 2024 and spring 2025, hoping to make these performances an integral part of our organization's culture. In addition to these concerts, we plan to expand our outreach with workshops, school presentations, miniconcerts, and lectures. We believe in the transformative power of classical music and aim to become as familiar and welcome a fixture in the cultural ecosystem of South County as we currently are on the Monterey Peninsula. This concert series marks the start of our commitment to making live classical music accessible to a region that has long had limited opportunities to experience it.
