This program offers small-scale home repairs and safety upgrades for our clients allowing them to age in place with independence and peace of mind. These home projects are aimed at improving mobility, reducing falls, and supporting independence for local homebound seniors, adults with disabilities, and veterans. In 2024, we completed 33 projects including the installation of wheelchair ramps, handrails, porch repairs, walkways, heating, ventilation, lighting, and more. MOWMP.ORG/HHH MOWMP.ORG/PETMEALS Our Pet Meals program continued its efforts to provide pet food, supplies, and care for clients. Pets provide unparalleled social and emotional support, offering comfort, companionship, and a sense of purpose for our Home Delivered Meals clients. It can be difficult for our homebound clients to procure the necessary food and supplies to keep their pets happy and healthy. In 2024, our staff and volunteers worked to help preserve the indispensable relationships clients have with their pets by making 1,032 pet meal deliveries for more than 54 pets across the Monterey Peninsula.
