Born on Christmas morning in 1986, Zachary was his parents’ most precious gift—the best Christmas present they could have ever received. From the very beginning, he brought warmth, light, and love into the world. A lifelong resident of Aromas, Zachary attended Aromas School, Monte Vista High School, and graduated from North Monterey County High School. He went on to study mathematics at Chico State University, where his sharp mind and love for learning shone brightly. When his father, Greg Brewer, suffered a life-altering accident, Zachary devoted himself as his full-time caregiver, showing extraordinary love and dedication. Later, inspired by a close friend, Zachary pursued a career in massage therapy. He attended the National Holistic Institute and became a certified neuromuscular massage therapist. Known for his “magic fingers,” he brought relief and comfort to countless family members, friends, and clients through his healing touch. Zachary’s greatest joys were his family and friends, who will remember him for his kindness, compassion, and the warmest hugs. He is survived by his mother, Tracy Jackson- Brooks; his stepfather, Michael Brooks; his siblings, Brandon Brewer, Terah Polockow, and Jeran Polockow; and his grandparents, Jackie Yamashita, Bobbie Brewer Sargeant, and Cecil Jackson, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Greg Brewer. A celebration of Zachary’s life will be held on Saturday, November 15th, 1pm at the family home, 243 Aromas Rd, Aromas, CA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to organizations supporting suicide prevention, so that others may find help and hope. Rest easy, sweet Zachary. You will be so very missed.
