STARRY NIGHT What do the area’s best high school football players do in the off season? Well, if they truly are the area’s best, they play in the 39th annual Central Coast High School Football All-Star Game. Two teams made up from top athletes from area high schools take to the field, and sure they want to win. But instead of a grudge match, this is for charity. Head coaches Juan Cuevas (from North Monterey County High School) and Francisco Estrada (of Alisal High School) selected CASA of Monterey County and ERA Training as this year’s recipients. So for the players suiting up for one last time in high school, they are also helping out. And who knows, there may be a future Hall of Famer out there. [DF] 7pm Saturday, Feb. 1.
