Under the mantle of Sunset Presents, we bring a wide range of world-class performances and live events to our campus. Our dedicated team also programs no-cost community events and acclaimed arts education programs, making the arts accessible, inclusive, and meaningful for all. Since 2008, our signature program Classroom Connections has provided free, high-quality arts education to 15,000+ students, nurturing creativity and fostering artistic development at 45+ under-funded schools across Monterey County. The Classroom Connections program features artists from Sunset Presents visiting local school classrooms to lead interactive workshops with students. Following these workshops, the students, along with their teachers and chaperones, are invited to a morning matinee at the Sunset Center. This performance showcases the same artists and provides a professional demonstration of the art form explored in the classroom. “I would love to go back and see another play, because plays bring me a lot of joy and happiness because they’re fun and creative and because of the costumes, lighting, colors, and actors.” - La Paz Middle School Student SCANTO DONATE info@sunsetcenter.org boxoffice@sunsetcenter.org 831-620-2040 831-620-2048 x SUNSET CULTURAL CENTER
