The contract with a successful bidder will be for a term of one (1) year with a not to exceed annual funding limit of $1,000,000. The agreement will include an option for an additional four (4) 1‑year extensions with a not to exceed annual funding limit of $1,000,000. The total term of this agreement will not exceed five (5) years. The amount of work to be requested during the one year or optional additional one (1) year contract periods cannot be well defined at the outset. Work shall be issued through individual On Call Work Orders as discussed in Section 00 5300. The City reserves the right to award up to four (4) contracts to a pool of the lowest responsive, responsible bidders for the work set forth in the City’s call for bids and/or written plans and specifications based on unit prices. Up to four (4) multiple On Call contracts for public repair, maintenance or alterations work may be awarded by the City Council. Removal of a contractor from the pool will not affect the term of the On Call contracts for the remaining pool members.
