It holds hundreds of lights and ornaments without drooping. And when they light it—as they will for the 30th annual Holiday Tree Lighting on Nov. 29—the festive pine (or spruce, or whatever it is) attracts dignitaries. That’s right, Santa. Following the ceremonies, which take place around 5:45pm, Santa will be available to hear children’s wish lists.
