Here’s your chance to earn some bragging rights, and a little bit of cash doesn’t hurt also. Fisherman’s Wharf Association’s sixth annual Halloween on the Wharf returns Thursday, Oct. 31 from 4-7pm at Old Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey. The free event includes trick-ortreating at participating merchants, as well as photo opportunities and a DJ spinning tunes in front of the Rockfish Harbor Grill. At 5pm, take part in a costume contest in separate categories by age, with a first place prize of up to $100. As the Halloween festivities wrap up, honor lost loved ones during Día de los Muertos. There are many ways to commemorate the occasion locally.
