Closer to the coast (just a few blocks from it, in fact) is another version of Eden: Scheid’s Carmel tasting room. What does paradise entail? In Carmel it means fine wines and windows on the people-watching sidewalks. In South County, it takes the form of fine wines in rolling fields. And both settings are filled with fun, knowledgeable staff and people having a great time. A visit to the idyllic Folktale Winery goes beyond just tasting wine and learning about winemaking practices (though there is that on offer).
